My biggest accomplishment is contributing to our own payroll module
After my studies in Clinical Chemistry, I worked for several years as an analyst in the immunohematology leukocyte/thrombocyte serology department of the Central Laboratory of the Blood Transfusion Service in Amsterdam. Because I wanted to return to the beautiful Achterhoek region, I started working as a salary administrator at Abeos.
Persuaded by the positive experiences
Part of the work at Abeos consisted of functional application management of the purchased ERP software. In this role, I was then involved in the implementation of Mysolution. As streamlead salary I was intensively involved in this implementation. The positive experiences with the way of working, the culture within and the employees of Mysolution, made me decide to leave Abeos and start working for Mysolution. This is now almost seven years ago.
The development of our own payroll module
Since 2013, I have had the opportunity to do many interesting and challenging things within Mysolution. The development of our own payroll module stands out head and shoulders above the rest. I was able to make a major contribution to this. I have been involved from the very beginning and am very proud of the product that is now in place. We started with the payroll module in 2014, and considering the fact that almost all of our customers now work with the payroll module is a great result!
Always keep developing
The laws and regulations surrounding payroll processing change every year, so we are never done developing. This makes the profession challenging and exciting. We have to keep thinking about new features and the necessary adjustments in the setup. Every customer has specific needs and concerns that must be taken into account.
Often you are also an advisor for the customer, they want to spar about the new laws and regulations. Because you work for different clients, the position offers a lot of variety. This can also create hectic moments when they need you all at the same time. You then have many balls to keep high, but this provides a nice challenge.
But fortunately at Mysolution there is also time for relaxation. During Friday afternoon drinks there is time to catch up with colleagues. The staff outings are also always very pleasant. A very nice company to work for!
